As a direct consequence of Sunday’s last lap collision backward and forward Mercedes motorists, Horner stated Mercedes need to consider should they have become an untenable pairing.

“Long term, how tenable will it be for that pairing to carry on together?Inch stated Horner.

“While they’re within the situation that they’re in, using the competitiveness they’ve, these problems will not be isolated for this race.

“However that’s a beautiful element for that sport. When you will have a dominant vehicle, it is good to achieve the guys going face to face.”

Horner had their own experience with attempting to manage two strong and ambitious motorists as he had four-time champion Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber in the Red Bull outfit.

“It’s enormously difficult, because regardless of how much individuals guys appear at first sight team gamers, they’re companies and they’re racing on their own,Inch he stated.

“They’re going for that greatest prize in motorsport so, inevitably, they is going to do what suits them in the finish during the day.

“I am sure it will not be the sole one throughout the relaxation of the season.Inch

Mercedes team chief Toto Wolff stated he’ll hold conferences to think about the development of team orders in front of this week’s approaching British Grand Prix.

Horner stated he thinks that’s unnecessary.

“They’ve sufficient margin around the relaxation from the field, so why do they have to take into account that?Inch stated Horner.

“It produces curiosity about F1, it is good for F1 to possess two team-mates that won’t be the greatest of mates.”

Following Hamilton’s victory in Austria, the 3-time champion trails Rosberg by only 11 points in front of the British Grand Prix.
