Alexis Sanchez Could Play Against Uruguay States Chile Boss Jorge Sampaoli

Chile mind coach Jorge Sampaoli states Alexis Sanchez could still play a role in the nation’s next World Cup qualifier, despite battling having a calf problem.

The Arsenal forward performed the entire 1 hour 30 minutes of Chile’s 1-1 draw with Colombia on Thursday, but later reported discomfort in the leg, putting his participation against Uruguay on Tuesday doubtful.

However, Sampaoli has revealed the 26-year-old may play in the Estadio Centenario if he shows a noticable difference in the fitness.

“Alexis had discomfort in the calf and we’ll watch for him before the last second to find out if he is able to play,” the Chile boss stated on Monday.

Chile sit second in World Cup qualifying, unbeaten in three matches.

Sampaoli is confident of creating the planet Cup in Russia, despite his side shedding points against Colombia.

“I’m proud to direct this number of football players, and that i hope I’m able to carry on doing so,” he stated.

“The leaders from the group are the type who produce most hope which is the hunger and dedication to the shirt which these gamers have which most binds me towards the hope of some other World Cup.

“We most likely won’t have the ability to win every single game, or always play to the best, but wherever we’re we’ll defend this shirt towards the maximum.”

Until PS4 shows sig1 of sale slow down, that’s not going to happen. Sony is quite happy charging you as much as they can.
