PARIS – Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic was chosen France’s Ligue 1 player of the season for any record third time on Sunday.

Ibrahimovic won the award, chosen for by his peers, in front of PSG team-mate Angel Di Maria, Nice forward Hatem Ben Arfa and Marseille midfielder Lassana Diarra after scoring 35 goals within the capital club’s romp to some 4th straight French title.

PSG take presctiption course to repeat last year’s domestic treble, getting won the League Cup recently, using the final from the French Cup on May 21 against bitter rivals Marseille.
