Sad how loud and angry the PS4Lyfe crowd has become, just admit Microsoft has executed a masterful turn around on the Xbox One this year. Sony (and I’m currently only a PS4 owner, but no doubt and Xbox One is in my near future) jumped in and rode the anti-Xbox One sentiment and hasn’t done much since then. Yes, I get (usually marginal) free games every month, a LOT of remaste1 and a lot of promises. I also get horrid dashboard updates, a chance to not use my co1ole while script kids ravage their network time after time and a lot of hot air about how they are focused on game1. There is some compelling stuff for 2015 but I’m not declaring The Order, Uncharted 4 or Blood Porn as awesome games until I’ve played them.nMicrosoft delivered a handful of exclusives (and not indy or AA games, but AAA games) this holiday season and have a solid 2015 lined up as well (although I’m not declaring any of those awesome until I play them, but they do have a more exciting line up for next year based on my taste). Right now the Xbox One is the more compelling machine, and I’m baffled anyone thought MS would just roll over for the rest of this generation and leave it to Sony to run away with.nAnd as a PS3 early adopter I think it’s hilarious how selective some of your memories are, Sony has a knack for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. And their current complacency leads me to believe they are ready to show that skill again.
